Hand In Hand

In 1994 a "Hand in Hand" youth project was born.

"The Hand in Hand" project is designed to address the problems of the homeless and orphaned children in Lusaka Zambia

This is what we have achived:

1.Shelter where 500 children are now living

2.Medical care

3.Music activities

The "Hand in Hand" project was in 1995 extended to the Zambia underprivileged Children. Purr Productions/Ken Simuyemba organized a donation of School stationery to aid Kaunda Square Primary School. A 20 Feet Container with books, papers, 200 desks and chairs was realized and was shipped to the Primary School as a donation. In the same project, a musical competition for youth In Norway was organised where 2 winners accompanied the container under the leadership of Ken Simuyemba and 2 other Purr Productions representatives. Purr Productions representatives and the 2 Norwegian youth winners went to Zambia in order to go and hand over the School items, while at the same time, to promote youth to youth exchange. On arrival Ken and the delegation were met by the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Education and the School. Their program was also to visit different Primary Schools, the underprivileged Children in different communities etc.

In 1995 Mr. Simuyemba released his "You can run but you can' t hide". The cd to raise funds for school Children of Zambia

The Greek community in Zambia in conjuction with Purr Productions is arranging a fundraising TV Music Show.
