On the 29.11.98 Purr Productions Initiated and arranged an Awards Ceremony titled "SAVE THE CHILD" at Andrews Motel in Lusaka Zambia. Four categories were introduced, Singing/Raping, Dancing and Modelling. The idea of the Save the Child Awards Ceremony is to encourage Children help the needy while at same time improve their own talents. In the "Save the Child" awards event, Children with talent were identified. These Children are now playing a very important role in the development of other Zambian Children. In every "Save the Child" awards ceremony, a recipient is chosen as "SAVE THE CHILD OF THE YEAR". This recipient is Chosen as a result of being extraordinary talented and found committed in the work of helping the underprivileged Children. This Means that, the so said recipient is the overall winner of all the categories. The 1998 "SAVE THE CHILD OF THE YEAR" won an air ticket/tour of 9 days to South African Johannesburg. This was In order to go and experience as well as learn of how other Children live. |
